Emblem: Fire & Emergency Service of Western AustraliaThe Fire and Emergency Service of Western Australia invited Suzy to come and lecture for a day at their facility. It was a great day and many of the participants had traveled all day to get there, one even after a whole day of an emergency shift. Everybody was excited and anticipated to hear about this 'method' that Suzy had to offer. They were quite surprised when they found out that Suzy was facilitating them in finding their own way of working with their dog.

He was stunned that his dog did everything he thought at her!

One participant was quite astounded to find out just how much his dog was picking out of his head! He had thought his dog was 'ADD' because she would get up after a down stay without being commanded to do so.

He was afraid he would not pass the evaluation that was about to take place. After a short while of working with Suzy he realized that his dog was so connected with him that she was perceiving his thoughts. So when he thought about her getting up, she would. Once he realized that connection, he played with that for the rest of the afternoon. He started communicating entirely non-verbal and was stunned that his dog did everything he thought at her!

All participants started to see that there is a different way to be around your dog and that there is no formula to follow, besides asking a question and listening to the dog.

Suzy really enjoys working with professionals that are working with their dogs in all kinds of areas. It is wonderful to see them using the tools to create better performance with their dogs, or to have more ease with the stress of competitions or in an emergency. The people of this class in particular were interested in performing well on the evaluation of their dogs and to have their dog pass the standard. After being facilitated throughout the day all of them felt more confident about the upcoming evaluations.
